Dr. Maria Cecilia Ziadi is a cardiologist and cardiovascular imaging specialist with extensive international experience in multimodality cardiovascular imaging, including cardiac computed tomography (CT), cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR), and nuclear cardiology (PET/CT, myocardial blood flow quantification).
She is currently an Associate Physician in Cardiology at Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP), where she specializes in advanced cardiovascular imaging. Previously, she served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Dr Ziadi completed her medical degree at the National University of Rosario in Argentina, followed by cardiology training and a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Multimodality Cardiovascular Imaging at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Canada.
Her clinical and academic expertise includes coronary CT angiography, quantitative coronary plaque analysis, FFRCT, structural heart CT, left atrial appendage imaging, advanced cardiac MRI and PET/CT.
Dr. Ziadi is a Fellow of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC), is certified in Cardiovascular CT and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, and has been actively involved in international scientific education, research, and invited lectures in cardiovascular imaging.
