Computerized Tomography (CT) Scan

A computerized tomography scan (often called a CAT scan or CT scan) is an imaging test that uses multiple X-ray images to create a cross-section image of blood vessels, bones, or other tissues. You’ll be positioned on a narrow table that slides through the opening of the scanning machine. The machine will rotate around you, taking several images of your body. CT scans are painless and take just a few minutes to complete.
