Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 40 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Patient Care Representative.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of EP/ Cath department.
- Maintain patient schedules of three interventionalist, two electrophysiologist and four Advanced Practice Providers.
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to patients’ medical records.
- Interact with patients, physicians, vendors in a professional manner.
- Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member. Document calls in patients’ charts.
- Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries
- Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing and filing.
- May conduct research, compile data and prepare papers for consideration and presentation to the Physicians
- Compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings
- Collect and maintain inventory of department equipment and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Must have a H.S diploma
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in an administrative office environment. Medical office preferred.
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must have strong computer skills
- Must have effective writing, analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone, is extremely important.
- Must be organized
