Cerebrovascular Procedures
 Cerebral Angiogram dye injected into the arteries that go to the brain.
 Carotid Stent a metal mesh used to open the artery that goes to the brain.
 Vertebral Stent a metal mesh used to open the artery hat supplies blood to the back of the brain.
 Innominate Stent a metal mesh used to open the artery that supplies blood to the right arm and right side of the brain.
 Subclavian Stent a metal mesh used to open the artery that supplies blood to the arms.
 Neuro Protection  Device a filter device used to catch debris that may travel to the brain during a stent procedure. This helps decrease the risk of stroke
 Acute Stroke Treatment Angioplasty catheters are inserted to disrupt clots to reverse acute stroke symptoms


Cardiac Procedures
 Coronary Catheterization dye injected into the coronary arteries to evaluate blockages.
 Coronary Angioplasty a balloon is used to stretch a blockage open so blood flow can be restored.
 Coronary Stent a metal mesh used to reinforce an opened blockage the stent will remain in the body.
 Brachytherapy radiation applied to the site of an opened blockage to decrease the chance of the blockage reoccurring.
 Drug Eluting Stent a stent which is coated with a drug to prevent a blockage from reoccurring.
 Atrial Septal Defect Closure  (Amplatzer) a device used to close an opening between the right and left atrium.
 Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO)  Closure (Cardioseal) a device is used to close an opening which usually closes prior to birth. This opening has been associated to cause some strokes.
 Ventricular Septal Defect  (VSD) Closure a device used to close an opening between the right and left ventricle.
 Percutaneous Valve Repair Catheter based alternative to open heart surgery where an aortic to mitral heart valve is repaired using a balloon
 Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion Catheter based treatment for Atrial Fibrillation where a section of the left atrium of the heart is sealed off
 Atherectomy a rotating device which drills through plaque to open and artery with a blockage.


Peripheral Vascular Procedures
 Peripheral Angiogram dye injected into parts of the body other than the heart. This may include the arteries of the legs and kidneys.
 Peripheral Angioplasty a balloon procedure done on arteries other than the heart. The arteries may be in the legs or the kidney.
 Peripheral Stent a metal mesh used to reinforce an open blockage in arteries other than the heart. The arteries may be in the legs or kidney.
